SB Joinery were contracted to manufacture the bespoke external joinery to this period property in Winchester. To comply with conservation requirements, the windows and doors to the existing part of the house including restoration glass. The project also included a new extension in a modern design which included curved on plan windows and doors to a high specification.

This project highlights our capability to work on period properties and manufacture windows to conservation requirements. The double glazed units supplied on this contract were slimlite double glazed units with a restoration external pane. This is a very attractive option for clients that want windows with a modern double glazed performance but meeting conservation requirements and the traditional window look. This is ideal in listed building applications.
